Join us for a fun, no pressure knitting experience! Knitting basics is ideal for beginner or rusty knitters and will cover casting on, ending a project, and repairing mistakes. Master the basic knit and purl stitches, the foundation of all knitting.



Materials to bring to class: 

  • Size 7 Knitting Needles
  • 1 pair of small scissors
  • tape measure
  • 1 light color Supersaver Red Heart Yarn (7 Ounces)

Origami Kusudama Flower

Decorative Kusudama are made by using folded paper origami units which are glued together. It is a wonderful way to learn about paper folding. Traditionally Kusudama flowers were burned as incense or potpourri; some made from real flower petals. Supplies needed: The Ultimate Glue, scrapbook paper (12” by 12”), large paper clips, and a folder in which to keep finished projects.

Come join us as we explore the wonders of clay! You will develop and use it to create unique pieces of your own design through a variety of techniques. You will be encouraged to try the manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Beginners to experts welcome.

Enjoy them at your next bathtime or give to someone who could benefit from the gift of relaxation. Bath bombs are made of sea salt, citric acid, coconut oil, and corn starch! Diana will walk you through the process of mixing the ingredients, to include color and scent!

Materials fee $5 paid to the instructor.
