Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well-being. This class will focus on stretching and breathing while building strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Yoga classes are ongoing throughout the year, and new students can join anytime. All equipment will be provided. This course is offered through Di-Al Reiki at their studio located in North Berwick. In this combination of lecture, discussion and experience, you will learn the Reiki II symbols and how to use them during practice time. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, and practice using all the Level II symbols including distant healing. Students will earn a class certificate and CEs and CEUs for nurses and massage therapists are provided. Prerequisite: Must have taken Reiki Level I class. Stretching is a vital part of everyday life and especially important for runners of all distances. Learn how to stretch without injury. You will be standing, sitting, and on the floor both with and without resistance bands. After you learn how to stretch, Sam will create a personalized program for you at no additional cost. Balance is something most of us take for granted until it becomes more of a challenge as we get older. But it’s essential for everything from preventing you from falling, quickening your reaction time, and helping you with all those functional movements you do in your day-to-day life. Not only does balance improve your workouts, but certain workouts can, in turn, improve your balance. Join Sam in the fitness center for this one-night workshop to learn specific exercises geared toward improving your balance. All fitness levels are welcome! 1 Session
