This workshop is designed to loosen and stretch the hip joint so that movement in that area is easier and less tense. We will combine some restorative yoga poses with some that will increase flexibility and strengthen the body (especially the hip joints). Much of what we cover can be done at home after the workshop. Are you in need of some fresh ideas for your child’s lunch box? What about your own? Are you bored with sandwiches? In this family-oriented class, we’ll chat about some of our favorite lunch foods, and what might be inside a “healthy” lunch box and introduce some new ideas for easy and healthy (and fun!) lunch box items. Please bring your lunch box (grown-ups can do this too!) with at least two of your favorite lunch box foods. Then you and your child will dine together on a healthy lunch prepared by Becky! Vinyasa connects breath with movement, and these classes will guide you gently through sun salutations, some standing and seated postures, and end with quieting and meditative postures. Suitable for all skill levels, classes will help improve your strength, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. Alignment cues are given throughout to keep you safe. Classes are uniquely woven together so each time you step on the mat you’ll experience a new journey! You will leave feeling refreshed, energized and strengthened. All equipment will be provided.
