High School Credential Programs
OUR SERVICES
We are pleased to offer your choice of two high school credential programs to best meet your needs.
Our High School Diploma program allows you to take the classes you need to earn remaining credits to complete your high school diploma.
The High School Equivalency Test, 1 as HiSET®. This battery of five tests has taken the place of the GED in the state of Maine.
Both completion programs are free of charge and enrollment is open by appointment. Winter/Spring academic opportunities 1/17/22.

High School Diploma
The Academic Advisor will determine your remaining credit needs based on how your high school transcript aligns with the Noble School District’s 24.5 credit diploma.
You will then take your remaining credits at NACE.
Each class is worth 1 credit.

HiSET
The HiSET contains 5 tests:
• Reading
• Math
• Science
• Social studies
• Writing
In order to take the official HiSET tests, you must meet the following criteria:
• 17 or older (preparation for HiSET may begin before the student is 17)
• Pass all 5 HiSET pretests with a score of “prepared,” or “well-prepared”
• Have a valid photo ID at the time of testing
